I have no big projects on the go at the moment and have subsequently become completely overwhelmed with the choices before me. I have a myriad of old clothing of my own that is waiting to be transformed into clothes for the girls, quilts and softies. I have lots of remnants of fabric waiting to be made up into clothes for the girls. I have wool that could be knitted into something. I have jeans waiting to be made into bags or journal covers. I have scrapbook pages galore to work on - which requires first some photo enhancing and manipulating. I have one stitchery on the go (my cat wall hanging) with at least two more in my head that I want to make a start on. I have a couple of long forgotten cross stitches that I need to finish and turn into cushions.
And most days when I have that little bit of me time to sit in my room and work on something I just faff about, look at my shelves, open and shut my cupboard doors, take things out, put things back...
So I have concluded that there is only one choice left.
It must be time to take up a new craft. Anyone care to join me?
What's happening in your Creative Space this week? (Hopefully a lot more than is happening in mine!)
That sounds like my kind of logic! Go for it!!
ReplyDeleteOMG - that looks so hard and intricate. I know you are the exact type of person who will do well with bobbin lacing though. Can't wait to see what you make!
ReplyDeleteI do exactly the same as you when I have spare time - faff around and don't do any of it. I have never considered bobbin lace though!
