Each year we give our parents and siblings gifts from TEAR Australia's Arguably, The World's Most Useful Gift Catalogue. But just to ensure they have something to open, the grandparents get an annual scrapbook page for each granddaughter and our siblings (and their spouses) get something else handmade.
This year Miss Six and I worked on the siblings' gifts together - she drew portraits and wrote the names of the recipients, and I turned her work into stitched wall quilts about 13 inches square.
The first couple are teachers - thus the classroom setting, the second sibling enjoys art, and the third are keen ecologists so their portraits has a gardening theme.
Enjoy - we certainly did!
Very cool!
