My usual sections to browse are clothing, craft and small furnishings while my girls check out the books and toys. Gadgetman looks through CDs and records and, if there are any, black goods.
So yesterday, at Gadgetman's suggestion, we were browsing in a local op shop together after swimming lessons. And, sure enough, we came out with an armful. Two CDs, one book, a dress for Miss Almost Three, a skivvy for Miss Six, a little spice rack for me to convert into a wall hanging to hold sewing supplies and a metre of this gorgeous "Benjamin Bunny" fabric (by Phillip de Leon for the Alexander Henry Fabrics Collection for those of you who know more about names than I do). I have no idea what I will use it for, but I simply could not leave it there on the shelf.
Pop over here to see what everyone else has found this week.
great find with that fabric, it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric!! The fabric section at my local op shop is always the first place I go. Sounds like your whole family was in on the op shop action, love it!!

ReplyDeleteit's a family affair, over at yours! the fabric looks very 'alice' from here, as in the bunny-no-time? ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds this week ... and I love the kids are so into it. It's so much more fun that way.
