See - I told you I'd be in the throes of making dresses for a wedding during these sunny Autumn weeks! I'm not going to stop and count how many days I have left to finish the dresses - that will just freak me out too much (however, the wedding's on April 17th - so feel free to do the count down and freak out on my behalf).
Instead I will keep on working away, a stitch here, a seam there, and before I know it the dresses will be finished.
Is your Creative Space as full of fancy fabrics as mine is? I might pop over in between gathering skirts and pinning in zips to find out. And by the time we all return on April 28th I will be showing you the finished dresses!
OK, I am freaking out on your behalf but am also a 'work best when it's left til the very very last minute type' Therefore I have every confidence you will romp down the home straight.
ReplyDeleteHi Tania - I'm pleased to report that I have the girls' dresses basically done but for the zips, sleeve elastic and ribbon embellishments. And I've even managed to start the bodice of mine! I'm having to sew during child-free time, though...either that or sneak a few seams in while the girls are not watching ;).
