My Creative Christmas Space

It's beginning to look a lot like...well...you know how the song goes.

Our market stall is gradually moving away from the second hand bric-a-brac that got us going, and more towards the crafty items that we would all rather see on sale. We have a stall in the local monthly market, all of our goods are donated, and all the funds raised go towards charities.

So, as you might have guessed, my creative space this week (and, in fact, for the past two weeks) has been in making little Christmassy delights - above you can see mini stockings and felt doves in progress.

I'm sure one of these years I'll finally remember to begin the Christmas craft in January. But then again, there is something rather festive about saving it all for late November, early December when I can put on the Christmas music, set up the advent calendars and use the craft time to help build the anticipation of this most wonderful time in the Christian calendar.

  1. Are you making garlands out of those sweeties? They would make fabulous ones!
