Sharing My Creative Space

From now on I will be sharing my Creative Space with another woman. Yes - she's arrived! And in less than 48 hours since I ordered her online. She's a Lady Valet and she needs a name. And, no, Misses Seven and Almost-Four, I am not going to call her "Barry".

Also in the mail today was a second parcel with an extra length of fabric I had ordered from Fabric Patch for the quilt shown in my last post and lovely cotton batting for the two quilts. It was first time ordering from Fabric Patch and I did so because they had the fabric I needed in the length I wanted - and so far I'm impressed with their speedy despatch, careful packaging, and the little surprise swatches enclosed.

Oh - and there was the new copy of "Handmade" waiting in the mail box too, so it's been a good day for deliveries.

Now, there really are no excuses - the quilts can be finished and the designing of clothing can begin! Right after I fatten Lady Valet up a bit in the general waist and hip area.

Is anybody invading your Creative Space today???

    1. Hi Yana - thanks for dropping by. I did a lot of looking around and decided to spend the extra money to get the Lady Valet - and she is lovely! Although so far my daughters have had a little fun and I notice that she's been adorned with a string of beads and a party hat!

  2. Your Lady looks great, and not at all 'Barry-ish' - I hope that you get lots of use from her. Have to laugh, as I was just thinking today that I needed to pull mine down and pad it out the same!

    1. Now that she is wearing a string of beads and a party hat she looks very girly - I suspect she will be the subject of much mischief for a while! Thankfully I don't quite exceed her lower body limits, but I need to stop eating scones with jam and cream if that is going to stay the case.
